In short

RankMont is an SEO agency based in Mohali, India, working exclusively with businesses in the United States, United Kingdom and Australia. The team has been delivering search work since 2014 and now runs 100 in-house specialists. Engagements begin with a fixed-scope 90-day pilot at $1,200; ongoing retainers run $1,500–$3,500 a month, which is roughly half to a third of what an equivalent US agency charges. Every client gets a named senior strategist, a live reporting dashboard, and a published list of every link and page we produce.

Objections

Six things buyers worry about before hiring an agency in India

All six are reasonable. Here is exactly what we do about each, so you can hold us to it.

“You will fill my site with AI-generated filler”

Every page carries a named human writer and an editor. Ask for a brief and the article it produced — both arrive within a day.

See the detail

“I will lose visibility into the work”

Dashboard login on day one showing every task, every link and every published URL as it happens. Not a PDF at month-end.

See the detail

“What happens to my data and logins”

A mutual NDA before the first call, named-individual access, and a written policy on what we store and how access is revoked.

See the detail

“Spam links will get me penalised”

Full link disclosure every month with live URLs, and a written no-PBN, no-paid-link policy. We do penalty recovery, so we know the downside first-hand.

See the detail

“The time difference will slow everything down”

Fixed overlap hours per market, published: 6:30 AM – 11:00 AM EST for the US, 9:00 AM – 2:00 PM GMT for the UK, 11:00 AM – 5:00 PM AEST for Australia.

“I will pay and get nothing”

Monthly billing, no annual lock-in, and a fixed-scope 90-day pilot as the default way in. Thirty days notice, any time.

What we do

SEO only. Six services, staffed by specialists.

We do not sell paid media, social or web design — which means nothing gets deprioritised when a campaign needs work, and nobody on your account is a generalist rotating between disciplines.

Technical SEO

Crawl, index and Core Web Vitals work — the layer that decides whether anything else you do can rank at all.

Content and on-page

Briefed by a strategist, written by a named human, edited before it ships. Built to answer a query completely.

Link building

Editorially placed links from sites with real traffic. Every URL disclosed monthly. No networks, no paid placements.

Ecommerce SEO

Category architecture, faceted navigation, product schema, and the internal linking that decides which pages get crawled.

SaaS SEO

Bottom-of-funnel capture, comparison and alternative pages, integration pages and programmatic templates that convert.

AI search visibility

Getting named by ChatGPT, Perplexity and AI Overviews — entity consistency, structured data and the formats assistants cite.

Process

How an engagement actually runs

The same sequence on every account, because the order is what makes it work.

  1. Week 1

    Access and baseline

Search Console, analytics, CMS and, on larger sites, server logs. We record where you are before touching anything — arguments about whether something worked are impossible without a baseline.

  2. Week 1–2

Technical audit, read by a person

Not a tool export emailed to you. A prioritised list: what is costing you traffic today, what will cost you traffic later, and what the tool flagged that genuinely does not matter.

  3. Week 2–3

    Keyword-to-URL mapping

Every target term assigned to exactly one page. This is the step most programmes skip, and it is why so many sites end up with four pages quietly competing for the same query.

  4. Week 4

The written plan, approved by you

What gets fixed, what gets built, what gets earned, in what order, with what we expect to see and when. You approve it before we execute. Disagree with the sequencing here, not in month four.

  5. Monthly

    Execution you can watch

Technical work, content and links land in the dashboard as they happen. A short written update weekly, the full report monthly, a call as often as your plan includes.

  6. Quarterly

    Revisit the plan properly

Search changes, your business changes, and a plan nobody revisits is a plan nobody is following. Every page also gets a refresh review — freshness is one of the heaviest ranking and citation signals there is.

Pricing

What it costs, on the page, where you can see it

Most agencies make you book a call to find out. We would rather you self-select — if this is outside your budget, a discovery call was never going to change that.

Why us

Why clients choose RankMont

Every item below is something you can check before you sign, not something you have to take on trust.

Named people on your account

A senior strategist and a delivery lead, both named at onboarding with direct email addresses. No routing through an account manager.

Every link disclosed monthly

A complete list of every link we build, as live URLs, so you can check them yourself. Written no-PBN, no-paid-link policy.

Human-written, editor-reviewed

Every page carries a writer's byline and an editor's review. Ask for a brief and the article it produced — we send both within a day.

Published pricing

Our rates are on the website. You should not need a sales call to find out whether you can afford us.

Live reporting from day one

Dashboard access showing tasks, published URLs and links as they happen — not a PDF assembled at month end.

Fixed overlap hours

Published per market and kept every working day. Clock times, not "we are flexible".

No annual contracts

Monthly billing, 30 days notice, on every plan. An agency that needs a lock-in has a delivery problem.

You own everything

Audits, briefs, keyword maps, link lists, analytics. If you leave, it all goes with you.

AI search visibility included

Entity consistency, structured data and citable content formats on every programme, not sold as a separate upgrade.

We will tell you when to stop

When the budget cannot fund the goal, or when SEO is not your problem, we say so rather than take the money.

100 in-house specialists

Directly employed, never subcontracted. Subcontracting is where quality control and access control both break down.

12 years in search

Delivering for Western businesses since 2014. The team predates the brand.

Questions about working with an SEO company in India

These are the questions that come up most often on first calls. If yours is not here, ask — we answer in writing within one working day.

What does RankMont actually do?

We run search programmes for businesses in the United States, United Kingdom and Australia — technical SEO, content, link acquisition and AI search visibility. SEO only. No paid media, no social, no web design.

How much does SEO from India cost?

$500–$3,500 a month for most businesses. Our own pilots start at $1,200 for 90 days, and retainers run $1,500–$3,500. US agencies charge $2,500–$10,000+ for comparable scope, averaging around $2,819 a month. The saving comes from operating costs, not reduced scope.

Is it safe to outsource SEO to India?

Yes, with the caveats that apply to hiring any agency anywhere. The country is not the risk — the vendor is. The five things that genuinely go wrong are unedited AI content, undisclosed link building, vague data handling, invisible delivery, and an undefined time-zone gap. All five are detectable during vetting if you ask the right four questions, which we list on our outsourcing page.

How long before I see results?

On an established domain, early movement in 3–4 months and meaningful traffic change by month 6–9. On a new domain in a competitive niche, 9–12 months is realistic. Anyone promising rankings in 30 days is either buying links or targeting terms nobody searches.

Who will actually work on my account?

Two named people: a senior strategist who owns the thinking and a delivery lead who owns the execution. Both are introduced by name at onboarding with direct email addresses. You can speak to them before you sign.

What are your working hours relative to mine?

Published and fixed per market: 6:30 AM – 11:00 AM EST for US clients, 9:00 AM – 2:00 PM GMT for the UK, 11:00 AM – 5:00 PM AEST for Australia. Urgent issues get a same-day response outside those windows.

Do you require a long-term contract?

No. Every plan bills monthly with 30 days notice. We have never used annual lock-ins — an agency that needs a contract to keep a client has a delivery problem rather than a contract problem.

Can I see the links you build?

Every one, every month, as live URLs. This is a written policy, not a favour. Ask any agency you are considering for exactly this before you sign — the ones who send it within a day are the ones worth talking to.

Do you use AI to write content?

For research and first-draft assistance, like every serious agency now does. For publishing, no. Every page is written or substantially rewritten by a named human and reviewed by an editor. Unedited AI content at scale is the most-cited red flag in offshore SEO in 2026, and it does not rank.

Will you sign an NDA before we talk?

Yes, mutual, sent the same day you ask. Several clients do this before the first call and it is an entirely reasonable request.

What happens to my data if I leave?

Full export first — audits, briefs, keyword maps, the complete link list and reporting history — then access revoked and account data deleted within 30 days. It is your data and it leaves with you.

Do you work with agencies as well as direct clients?

Yes. Roughly a third of our work is white label for agencies in the US and UK who resell under their own brand. Pricing starts at $900 per client per month and your client never sees our name.

What if you are not the right fit for us?

We will tell you. We turn down engagements every month where the budget cannot fund the goal, where the problem is conversion rather than traffic, or where a local agency in your own country would serve you better. Losing a sale costs less than taking money for a programme that cannot work.
